These Customer Terms apply when you request traffic control through TrafWise, whether through an AI assistant using the TrafWise connector (trafwise.com/mcp) or on trafwise.com. By signing in and accepting them, you agree to them. If you accept on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to do so.
1. About TrafWise
TrafWise ("TrafWise", "we", "us") is based in Queensland, Australia. We run software used by traffic control companies, and the TrafWise AI Network, which connects people who need traffic control with independent traffic control companies ("Partners").
2. What we do, and what we don't
- We receive your request, send it to up to three Partners that cover your area and services, and keep you updated on its status.
- We are not the traffic control provider. Partners are independent businesses; the Partner you engage provides the service and is responsible for it, including its crews, equipment, plans and compliance.
- We don't guarantee that a Partner will be available, or any price or response time. If no Partner covers your area, our team may try to arrange one for you, but can't promise to.
3. Your account
You sign in with your email address and a one-time code. You must be 18 or older, give accurate details, and keep access to your email secure. You can disconnect the TrafWise connector from your AI assistant at any time.
4. Requests
- A request is a request for a quote, not a booking. Your AI assistant must show you a summary and get your OK before it sends a request, accepts a quote or cancels a request on your behalf.
- You authorise us to share your request, including your name, phone number, email, company and the site details, with up to three Partners so they can contact you and quote.
- Give accurate information about the site, dates, times, road conditions and the work. Wrong information can make a job unsafe or change the price.
- Don't send fake, duplicate or abusive requests. We may limit how many requests an account can send.
5. Quotes, payment and cancellations
Partners quote you directly. If you accept a quote, your contract for the traffic control is with that Partner, on the Partner's terms, including their payment and cancellation terms. TrafWise does not collect, hold or process payments for jobs, and is not a party to that contract.
6. Safety, permits and compliance
Traffic management must comply with the laws and standards of the state where the work happens. Unless the Partner agrees to arrange them, you remain responsible for any approvals your own work needs. Allow enough notice for traffic management plans and road occupancy permits, which often need 5 to 10 business days for council or state road authority approval.
7. AI assistants
AI assistants such as Meta Muse, ChatGPT and Claude are third-party products with their own terms and privacy policies. They can make mistakes, so check the summary before you confirm. We act on the request as confirmed through the connector.
8. Our liability
Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can't be excluded. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows: the service is provided as is; we are not liable for the services, acts or omissions of Partners; we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss; and our total liability to you in connection with the service is limited to AUD $100, or re-supplying the service.
9. Suspension and ending
You can stop using TrafWise at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are misused, for example for fake requests or abuse of Partners.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. If a change is significant, we'll ask you to accept it again at sign-in. These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
